Russell Dalton is the Founder and Creative Instigator behind Genius, where he’s on a mission to make hiring smarter, fairer and a lot less painful.

Equal parts problem-solver, ideas person and professional plate-spinner, Russell brings energy, curiosity and a healthy dislike of “we’ve always done it this way” to everything he does. He’s happiest when helping organisations think differently, move faster and build better teams.

Away from work, Russell can usually be found sailing, playing football, or operating his most demanding side hustle: unpaid taxi driver to his kids. It’s a role that requires patience, route-planning, snack logistics and absolutely no expectation of tips.

By day, I'm a Customer Success Manager helping recruiters get the most out of their software. By evening (and most weekends!), you'll usually find me with a glass of prosecco in one hand and something delicious cooking in the kitchen.

I'm outnumbered at home by three opinionated cats, a football-mad son, and a husband who's along for the ride. Thanks to my son's love of the game, I've become a regular on the sidelines of grassroots football. While I didn't exactly choose the football life... it definitely chose me!

Working closely with the Operations Director,  Captain Baxter III leads our morale operations, ensuring peak paw-sitivity and managing the company’s stress-relieving cuddle schedule. Off the clock, this Working Cocker Spaniel shifts to field research to pursue his true passion, eagerly flushing out birds and rabbits.

As our Head of Projects, she steers the ship through tricky deadlines and big ambitions without breaking a sweat.

With zero years of formal training but a lifetime of dedication to the hustle, George excels at transforming workplace chaos into structured, tail-wagging efficiency, and not listening to his line manger, Head of Projects. A master of workplace morale and perimeter control, he ensures the office runs like a well-oiled machine—provided that machine occasionally drops a piece of cheese.

He is currently accepting meetings, provided you bring the good treats (steak preferred).

Out of the office, he can't stop hunting rabbits and giving big cuddles on the sofa.
