Last week saw the Genius team make the third stop on the Genius Skills-Based Recruitment Roadshow!

We spent the day with the brilliant team at City Plumbing, part of the Highbourne Group, diving into how iQ is evolving – and how skills-based recruitment fits into their world.

This was a proper working conversation – the kind that moves things forward.

Among our topics of conversation was the new functionality we’ve been shaping together – from smarter search to offer notifications and budget tracking – and, of course, skills-based recruitment.

‍

From the City Plumbing team’s perspective, the timing couldn’t be better. They could clearly see where SBR will add real value.

‍

We also loved hearing how recent training around values and cultural fit is shaping their thinking – a natural fit with skills-based hiring and a strong signal of where recruitment is heading.
