With the furlough of 9.4 million employees coming to an end in October, the prospect of redundancy is a looming prospect for millions of people. A survey conducted by the CIPD, the body for HR professionals, suggested that over half of employees who had been furloughed, would have been made redundant in the scheme’s absence. Government forecasts are for four million people out of work in 2021.
Those that find themselves looking for work can instead find themselves filling out hundreds of applications, with lengthy online application processes and a huge number of paid-for job sites to comb and search, each carrying only a small number of the jobs that are available.
There is however some good news for jobseekers. NexJob is a brand-new App that draws together (aggregates) jobs from a huge number of company career websites so that every jobseeker can find all the jobs, in one place. Created by a specialist team of recruitment software developers, the App now carries over 70,000 available jobs. Thousands of new jobs are being added weekly, with easy to search features and mapping that helps the user find jobs by location, salary, job title and company.
Free to use and more importantly - free for businesses to advertise, the idea is to show every job available - in one place. Connecting Employers directly with candidates. Make it easier to find work and take the pain out of the endless search - apply - search.
The App even notifies candidates when new jobs become available. Candidates can ‘hide’ from their employers and you can enhance your profile for quick application processes.
Enhanced company features include live video interviewing, one-click apply and managing the entire candidate application through to onboarding - which includes contract signing and induction materials.
The App has been developed over two years by Genius Group, who specialise in Recruitment and Talent Software.
“At the start of Covid-19 and lockdown we accelerated development of NexJob. The team have worked incredibly hard to get this ready and launched for what we knew would be a very difficult time for businesses and employees facing redundancy. We want to provide a solution that puts the Candidate first - so that they can find all the jobs, apply quickly and manage their application using their phone.”
NexJob is available free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
